Welcome to AZAP. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our platform, application, and services. By accessing or using AZAP, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Service
AZAP provides a technology platform that connects individuals or businesses seeking home services (such as cooking, cleaning, and handyman services) with vetted, independent service professionals ("Providers"). AZAP itself does not provide these services directly but facilitates the booking, coordination, and payment for them.
2. User Accounts & Responsibilities
To use AZAP, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary.
3. Vetting & Verification
While we thoroughly vet all Providers on our platform through skill audits and background checks, AZAP acts solely as an intermediary. We mandate a strict PINCode and geolocation verification system to confirm the arrival and departure of Providers, mitigating risk and ensuring accountability for every booking.
4. Payments & Billing
All payments for services are handled securely through our platform. You agree to pay the flat-rate fees displayed at the time of booking. By providing a payment method, you authorize us to charge you for all services requested and completed through your account.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations must be made in accordance with our cancellation policy. Generally, cancellations made within 24 hours of a scheduled service may incur a cancellation fee. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis depending on the circumstances of the cancellation or dispute.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AZAP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the platform or the services rendered by independent Providers. Your use of the service is at your sole risk.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose, to bypass our booking system by paying Providers directly off-platform, or to harass, abuse, or harm any Provider or AZAP employee.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
